By creating an account or using GiveTrackSave ('the Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
GiveTrackSave is a charitable donation tracking application designed to help users organize and record their charitable contributions for personal record-keeping purposes. The Service allows you to:

- Track non-cash donations (donated goods with item descriptions, conditions, and estimated fair market values)
- Track mileage donations (miles driven for charitable purposes, calculated using IRS standard mileage rates)
- Track stock donations (securities donated to charitable organizations, including cost basis and fair market value tracking)
- Set up recurring donations (automated scheduling of repeated contributions)
- Upload and store receipt images and documents as supporting records for your donations
- Export your data in multiple formats (CSV, Excel, PDF, and TXF) for personal records or tax preparation
3. Important Disclaimers
3.1 Not Tax Advice
The Service does NOT provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Nothing in the Service should be construed as tax advice. You should consult a qualified tax professional regarding your specific tax situation.
3.2 Fair Market Value, Mileage Rate, and Tax Savings Estimates
The fair market value (FMV) amounts provided by the Service are estimates only, based on publicly available charitable value guides. The IRS standard mileage rates displayed in the Service are provided for informational and reference purposes only. The Service also offers an Estimated Tax Savings calculator that produces a projected dollar figure based entirely on the inputs you choose (filing status, federal marginal bracket, optional state marginal rate, and whether you indicate you itemize deductions) and on the donations tracked in your account. This projection does not have access to your actual income, adjusted gross income, other itemized deductions, the standard-deduction threshold, Alternative Minimum Tax, AGI-based charitable giving limits, state-specific rules, credits, phaseouts, or any other information required to compute your real tax outcome. These values:
- Are provided for informational and reference purposes only
- May not reflect the actual fair market value of your specific donated items, the correct mileage rate for your filing year, or the actual tax impact of your donations
- Should not be solely relied upon for tax reporting, filing, or planning purposes
- May differ from values determined by the IRS, qualified appraisers, or your tax professional
- May not reflect the most current IRS mileage rates at the time of your filing
3.3 User Responsibility for IRS Reporting
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or any other tax authority. This includes, but is not limited to:
- The fair market value of donated items
- The condition assessment of donated items
- The valuation of donated securities, including cost basis, fair market value, and holding period
- The accuracy of mileage records, including miles driven and charitable purpose
- The date and recipient of donations
- All other information on your tax return
GiveTrackSave is not responsible for any errors, penalties, or consequences resulting from the use of information generated by the Service in your tax filings.
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. The Service offers optional two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance account security, and we encourage you to enable it.
4.2 Profile Information
You may optionally provide additional profile information such as your name, display name, and a profile avatar image. You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide is accurate and appropriate.
5. Service Plans and Pricing
5.1 Current Status
The Service is currently available at no charge during early access.
5.2 Future Plans
We may introduce service tiers in the future, including:
- A Free plan with limits on the number of charitable organizations and donations you can track per year
- A Pro plan with higher or unlimited limits for users who need to track more activity
5.3 Changes to Pricing
If we introduce or change pricing, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after pricing changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. If you do not agree with new pricing, you may export your data and close your account before the changes take effect.
5.4 No Retroactive Charges
You will never be charged for using the Service without your explicit consent. Any transition from free to paid access will require your affirmative action to subscribe.
6. Data and Privacy
We collect and store the data you provide to operate the Service. Your data will not be sold to third parties. For full details on what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights, please see our Privacy Policy. For information about cookies and similar technologies, please see our Cookie Policy.
