The story behind GiveTrackSave - and the mission that drives it.
Where It Started
For years, we've been passionate about charitable giving at community locations - donating household goods to local shelters, supporting organizations that help people who need a step up, and finding affordable goods that give items a second life. It's a cycle of generosity that strengthens communities and makes a tangible difference.
To track those donations at tax time, we relied on Intuit's ItsDeductible. It provided a bare minimum feature set - enough to get by, but never enough to feel confident. We worked around its limitations because there simply wasn't a better option.
When ItsDeductible was discontinued, we saw an opportunity - not just to replace it, but to build something fundamentally better. A tool designed from the ground up around the three things every charitable giver actually needs: a way to give, a way to track, and a way to save.

The Save pillar starts right on your Overview page with the Estimated Tax Savings calculator - a quick way to see how much your donations might reduce your income tax. From there, organized records become tax-ready exports - professionally formatted PDF reports, Excel and CSV workbooks, and TXF files that import directly into TurboTax, H&R Block, and other major tax software. One click, and your entire donation year is ready for your tax preparer.
